The work that I do

Recently I’ve been taking some time out t think about the work that I do outside of my social life. Obviously, I go to school and I have a part-time job too but this blog takes up time on top. I’ve been working on it for nearly 10 months and I’ve been able to make a staggering 100 posts since I began. These posts have been full of all things positive and negative which contain quite a lot of information on my personal life along with many awkward or difficult situations I have found myself in.

At the beginning of the year, I said that I would be attempting to make 5 posts a month and reach 5000 new people this year. I have recently discovered that this is not going to be possible without the help of my audience. There are many of you who share my story and for that, I can’t thank you enough. Those of you who do are aware that the statistics have been dropping and people are losing interest quickly.

I want to make it clear that I don’t sit here for hours writing these posts just so I can see that 50 people have seen it. I would much rather witness one person see it and know that it has had a positive impact on them. This isn’t done for the views or the ‘fame’ if you like, it’s done for the satisfaction of knowing that there might be one person in this world who finds what I write beneficial. I think I have explained something like this before but I wish to reiterate.

To those of you who didn’t see my post on FaceBook; here it is:

Apologies for making another short and boring plea post. I just wish for you all to know why I do what I do.

Thank you,
