Okay, so, today, I haven’t actually planned a post. *GASPS*. For real though, I simply haven’t had time to think. I just wanted to upload something to give you guys reassurance that I am 100% dedicated to the work that I am putting on my blog. It means a lot to me and I want to make sure that it is successful and helpful to as many people as possible.
Anyway, enough excuses, today I will be talking about my day (please don’t lose interest here, it gets better). Long story short, I’ve had a wonderful day and I hope you guys have too.
The slight shake
Basically, it started off a bit shaky as I was unable to attend my media revision due to some unforeseen circumstances. This means that I’m not currently in the best position for my exam on the 4th of June. However, it got better from there. I realised that exams aren’t everything recently and decided to be a little more free in this time of year.
Exciting thing #1
Recently, I was contacted by a charity who have had a HUGE impact on my life. http://www.dontlosehope.co.uk is a new charity that is opening a new community cafe hopefully at the end of summer. The ideas of it sound amazing. If I’m correct, it will all be based on mental health but will not be specifically aimed at those for mental health issues. The cafe will be there for people to go and talk to a counselor (in a counselor’s office) or to just go in for a cup of tea and cake! Anyway, they contacted me asking if I would help them set up a brand new website for the cause! I was so happy because I would finally be able to give something back to a charity that has helped me and my sister for the last 3 years. I’m so excited to get started!
Exciting thing #2
Following this, I had a GCSE exam (physics). BOO! I know, I know, but it has to be done, unfortunately. However, I got the exam and started to make my way through the paper and OMG it was so good! It was the best paper I have sat so far. I am so happy that it went the way I wanted it to because I can stop worrying about it. All of you that have sat the paper too, I hope it went well for you too.
I hope I have more days like this in the future as they are really good at bringing my mood up! I hope you guys had a great day too!
