Your Last Day

There will always be a time in your life where you end up reaching the last day. Whether it be at school or at work or even at home. Wherever it is, it is always an emotional day which can often end in tears. When your last day arrives it is always good to remember back to the first and think about how special it was. It’s important in enjoy it and reflect back on the time you have spent at this place. If you have shared memories with it, it will always have a special place in your heart.

The first day

This day will always have meaning to you, it will be one that you treasure when the last day comes and one that you will remember clearer than you expected. Think back to that first day when you hit the last and all of the other precious moments will come flooding back for you to think about carefully. All of the choices that you made have had an impact on this place and you can’t change them. If they were good or bad, you still made them, you should be proud of the moments you have made special in your place.

The good, the bad and the ugly

All of these moments will be remembered and it’s often that we remember the bad times better than we do the good because of the way we feel as if the bad things that we do have more of an impact than the good. On your last day, think about the best thing you have done and find the contrast between it and the worst thing you may have done. Now, this may seem like an odd suggestion but when you think about all of the smiles that you have shared and all the treats you have spread, you begin to feel a lot better about those smiles because of how they are more positively portrayed in both the media and the mind.

My last day

Today is my last day at secondary school. After today, I leave here to go on study leave until my exams have finished on the 15th of June. I’m currently sat in my very last GCSE English lesson before I start A-Level English Lit/Lang.

I have been reflecting on all of the memories I have had in this school and I have remembered all the smiles I have spread. I must say, I am proud of what I have achieved in the last 5 years of my life.
